Polyethylene terephthalate or polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is a thermoplastic resin suitable for food contact, making it ideal for producing bottles that preserve the quality of our oil. Specifically, R-PET refers to Recycled PET. An R-PET bottle is therefore made from 100% recycled plastic, enabling us to reduce our environmental impact.

OUR GOALS
By 2030, we aim to maintain zero waste certificate for our factories, reduce the environmental impact of our packaging, reduce our own carbon emissions, and encourage our suppliers to reduce their environmental impact.
OUR SUCCESS TO DATE
Since 2022, the electrical energy purchased for our factories has been 100% sourced from renewable energy, certified through Guarantees of Origin.
The National Recycling Goal in the US is aimed at increasing to 50% the recycling rate, as the EPA (United States Environmental Protection Agency) stated.

Moreover, AB793 regulation in California enforces that all plastic beverage bottles must contain at least 15% of recycled plastic as of today, with plans to rise to 25% in 2025 and reach 50% in 2030.
